If you have any questions please email Mrs. Coulson [email protected] Dear Parents, Some students have decided that they would rather participate backstage than performing on the stage for the Jungle Book. They understand that this may involve greeting people at the door as well as moving props, and set pieces. A few students have been selected from this list to help with lights as well. Your student is still needed at both performances that their class is putting on. Please make note if your student’s name is on the list below. May 16th (Wednesday- Dunmire, Bates/Zwack, Kelly) - Ty, Ben, Nikki, Melissa, Micheal, Faize, Ethan, Lucas, Ryan M., Brady, Sinam, Tarek, Hailee Thank you Jennele Coulson We are very excited about our upcoming assembly! We started the day by watching the draft of our assembly video and spent some time working on the bits and pieces that we have left to finish. Mrs. Coulsen worked with us to practice our song and dance moves and our performance is looking great! We hope you are thinking about what you will wear for Friday's assembly! How will you represent who you are to the audience? After snack we had Book club and we all enjoyed some time to sink in to our books together. In gym, we did some work on baseball skills using a fun game. It was challenging for some of those who hadn't done this before, but the teachers appreciated everyone trying their best! This afternoon we practiced all our speaking parts for the assembly. Thank you to those students who practiced at home. Our next job is to add feeling and expression to our voices. Some of us completed our Group of Seven Landscape paintings while others learned a new math game. The game was called subtract 999. As a group we gathered to help to better understand regrouping using base ten blocks. Question of the Day: Of all the activities that will be represented at our assembly on Friday which is your favorite and why? Reminders:
