Updates...Tomorrow is festive sweater day! Practicing our facts..We played an interactive group in teams to practice our facts. We are starting to work together to share our strategies to help each other to learn our facts.

Updates..How to Catch an Elf...Students were read the beginning of a book today and were asked to continue to write the rest of the story. We have very creative students! The stories are very engaging. Also, we designed elf traps, and will be working with kindergarten students next week to design and build elf traps together! Gus...We met Gus today. He belongs to another teacher and came for a visit today. He is a hedgehog. Ask your child about him. Wild Robot...We continued to read The Wild Robot today. At the end of one of the chapters Roz had lost one of her legs. We began to design a replacement leg for Roz using loose parts. It has to meet 3 requirements: it must grip the ground, be durable and be able to connect to Roz. Ask your child about his/her initial ideas. Updates...ONLY 1 DAY LEFT FOR FAMILIES HELPING FAMILIES!

Thank-you for your generosity!Choir to TMC tomorrow morning...First thing in the morning, just before the bell, CHOIR STUDENTS ONLY are to meet at the front of the school and line up at the sign with their teacher's name on it.They will not enter the school through their normal doors.
