Today we watched the movie Robots and looked for examples of Simple Machines that we have been studying in Science. We recorded our observations in our journals and made some interesting connections. We are finishing up our Coulee Stories and look forward to telling our stories using our clay story beads.
Tomorrow is our final Peace Assembly of the year. The grade 4's will besotting the assembly, particularly the Peace Ambassadors and the Eco Club! Following the assembly, there will be a small celebration for grade 4s and their parents. The assembly starts at 10:30 am. Report Cards come home tomorrow! Dear Eric Harvie Community, Right to Play is a global organization that reaches out to developing communities all over the world to empower and educate youth through play and games. Through the power of play, children grow to be adults that drive positive social and economic change in their communities. Our Peace Ambassadors and grade 3/4 classes had the opportunity earlier in the year to learn about Right to Play and learn some games that the Peace Ambassadors will in turn teach to our entire school community during Sports Day. We would like to encourage all students to bring a Toonie to support Right to Play in continuing its amazing work of teaching children all over the world (including us at Eric Harvie!) to make a difference. We will be collecting Toonies until the end of the school year. We hope you will help us out!
