For evening performances of the JUNGLE BOOK, please have your student arrive 30 mins prior to the performance so that we can get costumes and make-up done! Tuesday May 15th Matinee – 9:45-10:45 Evening – show begins 6:30-7:30 (AMK, Scott, Cox, Simmons, Zadran, Neily) Wednesday May 16th Matinee – 1:30-2:30 – Evening show begins 6:30-7:30 (PMK, Dunmire, Bates/Zwack, Kelly, Ross, Le) Thursday May 17th Matinee – 1:30-2:30 – Evening show begins 6:30-7:30 (Campbell, Huebner, Chang, Fournier, Low, Slot, Day) All principal cast must be present at all shows. These are any characters that have speaking lines as well as, Vultures, wolves, elephants, jungle speakers and monkeys. Al of these students are in grade 3/4. If you are not sure if this is your student than please email and ask Mrs.Coulson. Parents - we are in need of 10 - 15 parent volunteers at 8:30 am Tuesday, May 15; Wednesday, May 16; Thursday, May 17 for approximately 1 hour to apply face paint to the cast of The Jungle Book each morning. No skills required - there will a simple image applied to each child's face. If you are able to help, please sign up HERE Students are still expected to show up during their evening performance even if their families are not going to the evening show. Please be dropped off at the school at the main entrance by 6:00pm and picked up from 720pm -730pm (this is our best estimate - times may be off by a few minutes depending on the start time). Updates...Forms for our next fieldtrip to Head Smashed-In Buffalo Jump are coming home today. They are due back to the school on May 15th! We have already received notification for parent volunteers through sign up genius! Thank you for your support. Visit from Saa'kokotoSaa'kokoto came to visit today to give us some background information about Head Smashed Buffalo Jump and to share some oral stories with the students from the Blackfoot. We are always looking at our learning through the lens of the land and people.

Updates...TUESDAY AFTER SCHOOL JUNGLE BOOK REHEARSAL CANCELLED!!!! Due to that rehearsals during the day for the Jungle Book there will be NO rehearsal after school on May 8th! We used all types of materials and our imagination to put together our jungle themed student audience! Updates...Wonder Time Tomorrow Please note that this Friday we will be hosting a special Wonderhour for the Jungle Book. From 10am - 11am we would like students to craft their own Jungle book costumes. Students with key roles will be outfitted separately but all other students need to look like the "Jungle". This could come in the form of leaves, greenery, or animal ears. We have asked them all to bring in a shirt that things can be pinned to. Making Good Choices...

Updates...The Eco Team and The Peace Ambassadors have been invited to represent Eric Harvie School on May 3rd at the Arbor Day Ceremony at Tuscany School. If your student is in one of these two clubs we will be walking down to Tuscany school after lunch, singing in their gala event and then heading back to school. Your student will be working on the song, Plant a Tree For Your Tomorrow by John Denver.
