| We helped our kindie buddies build bridges today. Our focus was to learn about different types of bridges and how different shapes help a bridge become more stable and to carry a load. |
Updates...Our lost and found is over flowing; we would love to see hoodies, sweaters and scarves returned to their rightful owners. Lost and found items have been displayed in the school several times this year, and will be ready for viewing again during the volunteer tea. Please stop by to claim any missing favourites. Unclaimed items will be donated on June 1st. |
| Students explored the concept of fractions today and creating parts of a whole by covering a hexagon pattern block as many ways as possible? Are they all equal parts? How can you explain it in words? numbers? pictures? Where do you see fractions in your home? outside? |
