Reading together...We discussed reading goals as a large group today and broke off into smaller groups to support one another with our reading. Students did a great job staying focused and supporting and encouraging one another. Playground Grand OpeningWhat fun! _________________________________________________________________________________ Dear Parents and Guardians, Today begins our Terry Fox Week. Our school has decided on a goal of raising $4000 for the Terry Fox School Run. All monies raised through pledges, donations and the money raised through our Terry Fox Fun Snack will be donated in memory of Greta Marofke. Each student was given a pledge form to take home today. All pledge forms and donations can be brought back to school by Friday, October 27. *** All cheques must be made out to the Terry Fox Foundation. Our school run will take place on Friday, October 20th. We will have a warm up assembly at 8:30 am with the run beginning by 9:00. The theme of our run will be “Capes and Tiaras.” We encourage students to dress up as a super hero, wear a cape or a tiara to honour our own Tuscany hero, Greta. Parents who would like to volunteer for our run can do so on Sign Up Genius. We had mindful time in the afternoon...
