But I might not make it… if I don’t, the Marathon of Hope better continue. ~ Terry Fox Exploring the Wild...We had a very interesting day full of exploration at Glenbow Ranch today. Here are some of the highlights. Ask your child about what they discovered, observed or wonder. Two people fell in the mud! – Madeleine We saw a deer – Jules We saw a deer and a buck close up – Farah, Gabby We saw scattered pieces of an old car – Addison We saw a burnt house – Moka I got too close to a deer and it started walking toward me, looked me in the eye, then ran away! Sam We caught 2 grasshoppers – Lukas We met a really nice man who told us about Eagles nests – Winter I saw 3 prairie dogs poking their heads up out of their holes – Hannah There were 2 horses in the meadow if you walked down the hill you’d see them – Gabby We saw a tipi – Jaxon We saw these holes we thought that they were weasel or gopher holes – Mariam We found a lot of grasshoppers, and we named the field Grasshopper Meadow or Hopper Meadow – Kenna Our group saw an old post office/store – Rylin We found a chicken coop – Addison I saw a black horse and people told me that it’s name is Scout – Anneliese We saw lots of rocks that led to a hole that the water collected in, but there was no water in it, maybe it dried up – Hannah We saw deer tracks –Alyssa We saw an old brick factory by the Bow River – Gabby
